Off Day

Woke up this morning, showered and put this outfit together. Today is my off day. All day it was bothering me that my belt didn't quite match shoes. Usually I don't care but today it was sticking out like a sore thumb. Maybe it's the fact that it's brown leather and it just looks right when it matches. Such a silly thing though. 

Shirt on sale Forever21 ( bought awhile ago). Pant from Forever21 as well. Belt from Target. Shoes, NikeAir for Cole Haan from Marshalls on sale for like $20 or something like that. What a deal I bought a size 7, I usually wear size 6.5.

Gray Monday

Gray sweater from Forever21. Didn't get chance to take a pic of the back of the sweater. Braided down the back to give a plain gray sweater some interest. It was a tight braid so it was work appropriate. Black pants from Forever21 as well. Black straight leg pants with front pant zippers for some interest.

Today's Outfit: Black really make the color mint pop.

(P)leather to Work

The leather can be appropriate for work. It depends on the item. I wore a relaxed boxy pleather top paired with a straight forward skinny black pants. The looks is a little edgy but yet work appropriate. C'mon ladies set yourself apart.

Cream and Olive.

Best and easiest color combination: olive and cream.

I love Brandon Boyd. I was so in love Incubus and Brandon Boyd back in high school. This video is beyond hotness. Thank you Brandon for the video. So hot, steamy and intense.

Thursday and Today's Outfit

Today's outfit: Picked up this awesome sweater at Express for about $18 (they were having a sale) and jeans from H&M on sale as well for $10.

I love the mix of material for a basic cream sweater. Quilted faux leather front panel is just interest but quite simple. When keeping something simple, it just comes down to the detail. Attention to detail is everything. 

Thursday's outfit:

Pants from H&M for $15 on sale and top and blazer are from Forever21.

Polar Temps

So cold today. The polar vortex is upon us. Comfy in this sweater and nice kicks. Casual Tuesday due to extreme cold.

Black & Gold

Ah, Monday. What can you say about Monday...but I did like my outfit for work today though lol. Black shirt, black waxed pants with gold accent, black leather belt with gold accent and black leather shoes. I basically live in black clothing but black doesn't have to be boring.
